Drawing from the dominion and inexhaustible resources of God, Paul reminds these believers of the necessity of the gospel in their attempts to walk with and serve God. If they are to succeed in taking their place in His plan, then they must do so by clinging to the reality that only His strength can enable their efforts.
In the days ahead, they must simultaneously remain rooted and established in the love of Christ while exploring the unfathomable nature of God and the immeasurable resources at His sovereign disposal. No matter how far they may wander in this expedition, they will never come to the end of God's greatness and glory.
Finally, Paul prays that these believers could be fully satisfied and filled by the fullness of God bestowed on those who walk in His presence.
